Computer use
Use of our library’s computers for unrestricted access to:
- our catalogues,
- databases, e-documents,
- Internet,
- LibreOffice
Internet
We provide unlimited internet access for study and research purposes on the computers located in the library’s community areas.
Wi-Fi networks
Wi-Fi networks available in our library:
- BME Wi-Fi: for BME citizens.
- Eduroam Wi-Fi: for registered users, library patrons, as well as members of a Hungarian or foreign eduroam member institution, including BME.
Access to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network is available with the barcode on your reader’s card or visitor’s ticket (format: <barcode>@omikk.bme.hu) and your own password (in lower-case).
BME students can use the BME Wi-Fi (network (SSID): BME, eduroam) after registering on the account admin site.
