The new exhibition of BME OMIKK is open!

We welcome all visitors to the exhibition in the lobby of the library, which traces the evolution of communication from fixed telephones to digital data transmission!

The almost 150-year history of telecommunications is full of exciting discoveries and interesting innovations, which are still going strong today. Take a look back with us: try the dial telephone, learn about the history of the privileged K-line, see what the first mobile phones and modems were like.

The new exhibition is open weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00 during library opening hours.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with the BME OMIKK and Dr. Krisztián Németh, Assistant Professor at the BME Department of Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence.
