There are two reservation options:
- If no copies of an item are available: a copy on loan. Advantages: the loan period cannot be extended by the other reader, the returned item will be reserved for you for 8 working days, and an e-mail notification will be sent about the availability of the book; or if that is not possible, we shall inform you by phone.
- If a copy of the selected item is available: you can reserve an item available for on-site use or for borrowing. Advantages: the item can be reserved online, it will be reserved for you for 8 working days, an e-mail notification will be sent about the availability of the book; or if that is not possible, we shall inform you by phone.
The library checks regularly the reserved items for the period of time requested by the patron, 1 year at the most.
This free service is available to library patrons. HUF 1500 will be charged when the person making the reservation fails to pick up the reserved item and fails to cancel the reservation within 8 days
Reservations can be made by logging into the online catalogue, in person at the service points, by telephone or e-mail.
