Based on the Government Decree 484/2020, our libraries are closed from 11th November 2020.
From 8th March 2021, our borrowing services are suspended.

Book returns
Items on loan can be returned by putting them into the book return boxes placed near the main entrance of Building K.
You can return books via postal service as well to the following address: BME OMIKK 1111 Budapest, Műegyetem rkp. 3. Please write: Library book
Renewals
The expiration date for newly extended books 16th May. We don't automatically renew your loaned documents. The loan period could be extension 9 times:
- by logging into the online catalogue
- by phone: 463-1152, 463-1790
- by e-mail: library@bme.hu
Overdue fees
Overdue fees that arise till 16th May are suspended, but any debts generated before this period will remain. Payment of outstanding charges by bank transfer. The BME students shall pay their library fees in the Neptun system.
Databases
You can find subscribed databases here. The library will not charge overdue until withdrawal. The citizen of the BME has direct access to the scientific databases via BME VPN services.
