As open science is increasingly developing in Hungary, publishing under the support of transformative open access agreements are getting more popular.
According to the successful growth of OA publishing, the cap of publishing quota for gold (fully) open access journals of the SpringerNature read and publish agreement was reached. Accordingly, the APC of the accepted open access articles in SpringerNature gold OA journals (e.g. Scientific Reports) is not covered for the researchers of BUTE, it should be covered from other sources. We appreciate your patience while we are looking for solution.
This change does not affect the free open access publishing option in the hybrid journals of SpringerNature as well as free open access publishing under our other OA agreements.
